Bride's mom walked her down the aisle...

She met her handicap father at the end.

Married!

Joelle's post-ceremony hair-  a vintage flower feather hair clip (a last minute decision) and her tiara doubled as a headband.

The cake: layers of lemon and toasted coconut and strawberry shortcake.

Joelle's Dress: Demetrios Ultra Sophisticates, Drop waist, sweetheart top, entire dress covered in beading, slit up the front of it

Live Acoustic Rock Music: Joelle's clients Perfuma (www.perfuma.net) and Jay Della Valle (www.myspace.com/dellavalle). Bride & Grooms introduced each act.

Joelle's bouquet:  Assorted Ivory Flowers, Black Scabiosa Pods & black ostrich feathers

Maid of Honor's bouquet:  Light pink roses & hot pink ostrich feathers

* All Bridesmaids carried tussy mussy's engraved with their names. Joelle also carried one.

Bridesmaids Dresses: David's Bridal

Color Scheme: Black, Ivory, Pink Green

(Flowergirls both wore all pink dresses that took a year to find and then 1 flower girl refused to walk or be in photos!)

Groomsmen: Ivory shirts, hot pink ties

 

Usherettes: Three friends dressed as pin-up girls and handed out the programs.

Centerpieces: Cupcake towers

Favors: Cupcakes & a donation to the National MS Society (in honor of Bride's father, living with MS)

  

Ditched the guest book: Guests signed an acoustic guitar

Seating cards: Designed after a Starbucks coffee cup (We met at Starbucks. I worked there, Micheal worked there years before me.)

Table Assignments: Each table featured a different photo of our dogs in a Starbucks style logo and was named after a latte flavor.

Bouquet toss- Maid of Honor caught it

Getting ready!

Garter personalized with our names and wedding date. I designed it  w/ charms & feathers myself from a website.

Found my shoes on clearance for $39!

Huge dessert buffet.

My hot pink ostrich feather purse I carried during the reception- it was for my camera!

   

Me and our dogs, Skye  & Lucky, pre-ceremony

We rescued Lucky off the streets in a thunderstorm a few months before the wedding & then adopted him!
